Over 50% of homes do not have an up to date EPC rating and that figure increases to 65% for detached houses. Our SAP modelling software fills in the missing property data as well as creates an estimated EPC. We also calculate an Environmental Impact Rating (EIR).
This provides you with a powerful set of data for performing carbon intensity, and energy intensity calculations for modelling different carbon reduction scenarios.
Retrofit Manager comes with different workflow dashboards and filters for making it easy to develop marketing campaigns or identify properties requiring specific types of interventions or suitable for low carbon equipment.
Understanding the condition of all properties in your portfolio is a prerequisite to publishing a carbon budget or understanding what interventions are possible or how much you or your clients may need to borrow.
RetroPlanner allows you to quickly assess the different types of measures that may be suitable for a property taking into account cost, energy efficiency and carbon savings. With the addition of Retrofit Manager this can be done at portfolio level by particular focus e.g. geographic area, property type, current EPC rating, etc.
Our digital replica of a property includes multiple retrofit plans each containing a list of retrofit measures and their cost.
The real power of our solution is being able to ask “what if” questions and comparing the impact of different retrofit scenarios.
For each property we hold information on building characteristics and building performance. A homeowner is able to set preferences such as financial budgets, levels of disruption and desired EPC outcome. When they are ready our SAP modelling software automatically calculates the cost of a retrofit and it then allows a homeowner to customise their plan.
By setting different goals such as Improve My EPC Rating we can calculate the cost of achieving different retrofit pathways at property and portfolio levels.
